Sexual Energy – That Extra Ingredient – Part 1

What follows is from Chapter 33 of my book The Libertarian Way: Libertarian Pleasures of the Body, Mind and Spirit.
Sexual energy is one of the most misunderstood of all human forces. Many myths and illusions surround this important component of a fulfilling life. Some religions disparage this energy believing it results in illicit sex and abusive power. Much of the misunderstanding results from erroneous spiritual teachings about this all important energy, although their teachings may be enlightened in other areas.
Many are under the illusion that sexual energy is used only during sex. What they fail to realize is that this energy has many other uses. Some advocates of meditation and spiritual disciplines take the opposite view that all the sexual energy should be sublimated into higher awareness. Both of these viewpoints are erroneous and are detrimental to the individual who adopts them.
Puritanical religious beliefs claim that sex is only for procreation. Now it’s true that its life giving force is vital to the survival of humanity. However, this narrow view makes it appear that sex is something sinful and dirty and anyone who possesses a high degree of sexual energy is probably in league with the devil. Believing we are born in sin is a limiting belief of people who will never discover Libertarian Pleasures.
The Absolute Moralist would prefer that you keep right on believing in these illusions. You are easier to manipulate and control if you’re consciousness is filled with guilt and fear. Hopefully you know by now that the faulty, destructive moralistic system of this predator is incompatible with libertarian values.
If enough individuals freed themselves from puritanical beliefs about sex and eliminated the idea that “your morals are in your pants”—there would be an explosion of sexually enlightened beliefs and practices. Everyone would be free to explore their sexual fantasies and desires.
Some Buddhist, Hindu and New Age sects believe that a person’s sexual energy must be sublimated before an individual can reach total enlightenment. If a person uses this vital energy for the sex act there isn’t enough left over for attaining higher states of consciousness. They are under the false impression that an individual has only a limited amount of sexual energy.
The truth is: An individual is capable of possessing an unlimited amount of this energy. If a person can increase his energy to improve his performance in many areas of his life—why can’t he increase the amount of sexual energy he has?
After all, he can exercise to increase the amount of physical energy he has. He can read and learn more about any subject. Olympic athletes reach excellence by practicing for many hours a day. All of this takes more energy—and creates more energy
The way a person lives and thinks affects the amount of sexual energy he has. An individual enjoying the pleasures of life greatly increases his. Following the dictates of the Absolute Moralist by denying or suppressing your sexual energy will cause your supply to diminish.
It was believed at one time that sexual energy was pretty much a man thing. I have good news for you ladies, something I’m sure you know. Women can also have an unlimited amount of sexual energy.
Sexual energy is neither stagnant nor limited. A person can generate as much as he needs. Believing your sexual energy is in limited supply is an illusion. You can have all you need to accomplish anything you desire in life by meditating, exercising, continuous learning and enjoying pleasures of the flesh.
Some of you may wonder if sexual energy is the same as your other energy. If you are working hard at physical labor or appear to be alert and active you’re utilizing your normal energy. Your sexual energy is more subtle.
You can interact with someone who seems energetic but somehow his energy doesn’t rub off on you. It isn’t contagious. The person lacks charisma.
On the other hand when you’re around somebody who has an abundance of sexual energy it inspires you. Their charisma radiates out to you.
The power of an individual possessing a high amount of sexual energy cannot be overrated.
