Timothy Geithner, Establishment Lies and Bailout Swindles
Well, guess what? Tim Geithner is mad as hell and isn’t going to take it anymore. Isn’t that just too bad? You know if he’s mad as hell—the taxpayers’ anger ought to exceed the boiling point—finally exploding—scalding the perpetrators of our economic catastrophe.
Personally, I think he deserves most of the criticism directed at him. For one thing, he has no problem telling blatant lies as I explained in the article U.S. Treasury Secretary Geithner Tells “The Big Lie.” In addition, Geithner was President of the NY Fed when the monetary shenanigans that caused the financial meltdown occurred. However, in all fairness, there is plenty of blame to spread around.
Let’s face the cruel facts. Our political and financial establishment lives by the motto “You must be kept dumb.” How else can you explain the financial raping it subjects the good citizens of our once great nation to? The bailout swindles demonstrate that our government believes its citizens are “dumb as rocks.” Most of our representatives have the gall to assume that you will accept their bamboozling forevermore.
I believe you are smart enough to feel outraged by the above. Talk about blatant disregard of your intelligence! Can you remember a time when political and civic leaders actually gave credence to your concerns? Probably not. For almost a century, they have been only paying lip service to them.
The Bailout Blues
You may think there’s something fishy about the bailouts. Well obviously, the bailout schemes violate basic economic law. Heck, they even violate basic moral principles, such as “You shall not covet or steal.” You know—desiring something for nothing and forcibly taking it. The Federal Reserve corrupted the banking system (with their eager acceptance) with its easy money policy. Now you’re supposed to believe that it is in your best interest to bail it out with the sweat of your brow.
Ludwig von Mises stated an eternal truth in his magnum opus “Human Action”, “The essence of the interventionist policy is to take from one group to give to another.”
The truth of the matter is that the bailout swindles are nothing but the confiscation and redistribution of the productive individual’s hard-earned money through the egregious method of inflation. You may not currently see the results in our reeling economy, but the day of reckoning will arrive when you suffer the indignity of soaring prices.
Another method the government uses for lowering the standard of living of it hapless citizens is to sell bonds on the open market. This method may not be as dishonest, but it is as destructive. The government insists that this is for the good of all, but what is really going on is that sales of government bonds actually siphon capital off the marketplace— eliminating business expansion and job creation.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to explode. You may be wondering how anyone could possibly not be angered by these outrageous rip-offs. But, wait a minute! This feeling of anger is vanishing. In a moment, I’ll tell you why. After all, I don’t want my readers to suffer from ulcers and even worse cardiac arrest.
Where Does Truth Reside?
What if you discovered there was a greater truth than what you see before your eyes? Most people look outside of themselves for happiness and peace of mind. Now let this sink in for a minute. You will discover happiness and peace of mind if you search within your very essence. I can verify this fact by what is actually going on in the world. If you allow external events to control how you think and feel—unhappiness and obliteration of your peace of mind is all you can hope to possess.
Here’s a bit of wisdom that might brighten your future prospects.
Our political and financial leaders aren’t going to do one damn thing to help you create your success and prosperity. All they care about is their own greedy, dishonest aspirations.
It’s time you let them know you are an intelligent individual who is mad as hell and isn’t going to take it anymore. You inform them that they can no longer bamboozle you with their swindles and lies. You may not know what ultimate truth is, but you know the tainted words that come off their lying lips definitely do not resemble the truth.
Now doesn’t that declaration make you feel better? Suddenly, you begin to feel that maybe you can be happy and experience peace of mind, despite the economic nonsense the evil members of the establishment attempt to dump on you. With each easy breath you take, you begin experiencing your personal liberty and freedom plus the gift of peace of mind.
